Good Shepherd Center and Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard are excited to share that this beloved community event will return to Wilmington on March 22, 2024 at the First Baptist Activity Center on Independence Boulevard. The purchase of a ticket provides the buyer with one admission to the Empty Bowls event, which includes a variety of soups, bread, a drink and dessert donated by local restaurants and a handmade, one-of-a-kind bowl crafted by a local potter.
Tickets will go on sale in January. Sponsorships are available now. More information on volunteering coming soon. All proceeds support Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard and Good Shepherd Center, two local nonprofits providing free groceries and hot meals to food insecure households and to adults and families experiencing homelessness.
