Arts Access North Carolina and Cucalorus Film Festival will be showcasing Access 101 on Wednesday April 24 at 9:00 a.m.This is a full day workshop that explores diverse accesses to the arts for people with disabilities. Access 101 is for arts administrators, board members, volunteers, and front line staff at cultural arts organizations.
Topics that are Included are:
-Overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act and how it impacts arts organizations
– Accommodations for patrons with disabilities
-Sensitivity and disability etiquette in communications
-Steps for writing your organizational ADA plan
