Public Safety Grant Form
Wilmington Downtown, Inc.’s Public Safety Grant Program supports business and property owners within the Municipal Services District who are investing in security and safety improvements. Eligible projects include exterior cameras, lighting upgrades, system enhancements, and other public-facing safety measures that help create a safer and more welcoming downtown. This is a matching reimbursement grant covering up to 50% of project costs, with a maximum award of $2,500. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Projects involving exterior security cameras must connect to the Wilmington Police Department STING Center and require a signed Memorandum of Understanding.
