The 33rd Annual River To Sea Bike Ride will take place Saturday May 6th, 2023. This event is a 20-mile bike ride along the historic route of the Wilmington Beach Car Line. There is no cost to participate but t-shirts are available for purchase for $15 until April 8th. Each participant must register individually.

All age groups and experience levels of cyclists participate in this ride but must be able to ride 20 miles at a casual pace. Helmets are required and cyclists should give their bicycle a thorough safety inspection prior to the event.
Check-in is from 6:30 am to 7:00 am at the intersection of Princess Street and Second Street in downtown Wilmington. Cyclists will depart at 7:00 am from downtown and arrive at Wrightsville Beach Park close to 8:15am. There is a 15-20 minute break at Wrightsville Beach Park before beginning the second half of the ride back downtown.
Registration will close at 450 participants or on Friday May 5th at 1:00 PM. If you are not able to register online prior to the event, day-of registration will have a $5 charge and exact change is required.
